Pedaling for the PKU Scholarship Fund!

On August 25 and 26th, Cris Trahms, University of Washington PKU Clinic Program Director, will be riding RAPSody 2007, that is, cycling 165 miles with a 9000 foot elevation gain all around lower Puget Sound.

Cris will be riding to raise money for the PKU Action Group Scholarship Fund. Contributions to the fund provide scholarships for Washington state high school graduating seniors who have PKU and who have been accepted to a college
or training program. These kids have worked hard to be ‘unaffected’ by the potential debilitating effects of PKU. Because of their hard work and attention to their therapy, these students are intellectually very capable. We are eager to support them in their future educational endeavors.

With your help, Cris will pedal her socks off to raise money for six eligible students this year!

Here's how you can participate. Download the pledge sheet here and give it to Cris (along with your contribution), or mail it to the address listed on the pledge sheet. Then, sit back and let Cris do the pedaling!
